13 DPO – Beta #2 – UPDATED

The lines on the First Response and Dollar Tree tests are both darker today… but one little brown spot on my underwear has dampened my excitement about this pregnancy. It’s one little brown spot, but now I’m terrified.

I’m about to leave to test my HCG levels again. If there are any internet strangers reading this, we need all the prayers we can get.

UPDATE: HCG levels were at 119 and progesterone levels were at 34.9!!! I’m officially pregnant!!!

12 DPO

Today is greeted with darker lines on both the First Response and the Dollar Tree tests along with more nausea.

I’m particularly happy to see the much darker line on the Dollar Tree test since it is less sensitive. I hope my HCG levels double by tomorrow!

11 DPO – I’m… Pregnant?

My HCG levels are at 27 mlU today (11 DPO). I’m either pregnant or the HCG trigger is still in my system. I won’t know for sure until my second blood test on Wednesday. On a positive note, the last time I was pregnant, I had 27 mlU at 14 DPO.

I held my pee for 3 1/2 hours before I tested at 4:30 a.m. on my First Response. A nice pink line came up immediately (no squinting or angling needed!) but I am still unsure if it’s picking up whatever is left from the HCG shot. A Dollar Tree test with the same urine yielded another light second line.

After the test, I almost threw up.

Can’t Sleep

It’s 1:30 in the morning and I can’t sleep. Perhaps it’s the anxiety of testing in just a few hours or PERHAPS it’s the fact that I slept ALL day today.

After our 30 minute walk with the dogs today, I pretty much just shut down – sleeping through half of two, maybe three, movies on television.

I was also nauseated this morning, almost throwing up when I brushed my teeth.

Are these pregnancy symptoms? Symptoms of the disappearing HCG trigger? Or even the medication?

I started to get little stabbing pains on my right middle side – every 30 minutes or so. After googling, I discovered it may be a corpus luteum cyst. I coughed a giant cough later on that night, my side hurt like crazy, and the stabbing pains stopped.

Argh! I’ve waited 12 days! Why are the last few hours so hard!

POAS: Results Ambiguous

I have no idea how to read my pee stick. At various angles, I can see where the second line would be. I grabbed the stick from yesterday and lo and behold – a second line as well. Now I have no idea if the HCG trigger is causing all these faint positives.

Tomorrow is my official testing day. It’s been a long 12 days since the trigger.

Oh well. Still early but I have no symptoms except for the slight bout of nausea I had looking at my pee in a cup.

HCG Trigger is gone…

It’s 8 DPO (9 days past trigger) and the HCG is out of my system now. Whatever pregnancy test I take from now on might possibly be a true BFP. Now that’s scary! At least when I had the HCG trigger, I could at least see a false positive… now, there’s the possibility of disappointment. This two week wait is so difficult.
